How Sensor Lights work
Sensor Light is often used in stairwells, wardrobes at home and headboards, country yards, camping lighting and warnings in areas such as vehicles, engineering buildings, etc. At night, as long as someone approaches the sensor light, it will automatically turn on, and after a while, it will automatically turn off. The induction function of the induction lamp avoids a lot of unnecessary waste of electricity, and it also gives us great convenience at night. What is the principle of the induction lamp, and why can it automatically turn on and off?
There are three types of sensor lights: voice-activated sensor lights, light-sensing sensors, and infrared sensors.
First of all, let’s talk about the working principle of infrared sensor lights. We all know that the human body is a constant temperature animal that is kept at about 37. The body’s own body temperature makes us emit heat from time to time, so it emits infrared rays with a specific wavelength of about 10UM. Passive infrared probes are used to detect human emissions. It works with about 10UM of infrared rays.
Second, Light-sensing lights generally have solar warning lights. When the sun goes down, some building areas, water lighthouses or warning lights in dangerous mountainous areas enter the working state. This can alert surrounding pedestrians, and boats passing through these places can avoid danger far away.
The light-sensing module of the light-sensing sensor lamp first detects the intensity of the light, and decides whether to wait and lock each module of the LED infrared sensor light. There are two cases:
During the day or when the light is strong, the light sensor module locks the infrared sensor module and the delay switch module according to the sensing value.
At night or when the light is relatively dark, the light sensor module puts the infrared sensor module and the delay switch module on standby according to the sensing value.
At this time, if a human body enters the sensing range of the lamp, the infrared sensing module will start and detect the signal, and the signal will trigger the delay switch module to turn on the LED infrared sensing light. If the person continues to move within the range, the LED human body sensor light will be always on. When the person leaves the range, there is no infrared sensor signal, and the delay switch automatically turns off the LED infrared sensor light within the time set value. Each module returns to the standby state, waiting for the next cycle.
The lighting in stairwell, courtyard lighting and other scenes has two modules of voice-activated induction and light-sensitive induction. This sensor light needs to meet two conditions to work, that is, it will automatically light up when there is a sound in dark conditions, which avoids a lot of waste of electric energy.
How the voice-activated sensor light works
Sound is produced by vibration, sound waves propagate in the air, and if they encounter a solid, the vibration will be transmitted to the solid. The voice control element is this kind of material that is sensitive to vibration. When there is sound, it is connected (the resistance becomes smaller), and when there is no sound, it is disconnected (the resistance becomes larger). By making a delay through the circuit and the chip, the circuit can be extended for a period of time when there is sound.
We see all kinds of sensor lights everywhere in our life, they are always ready to serve human beings, illuminate the night, and they will automatically turn off when we don't need them.
